Ive been watching Gakkō no Kaidan / Ghost stories on youtube after the major censorship on the cartoon network version. Hanako is the girls bathrooms ghost from episode 2. Hanako of the toilet is a japanese urban legend. Shes a ghost.

LOL. I like the variation of that legend. It's called Aka Manto I believe. A little more gruesome though.
